• Nicholas Mittica Jr., M.D. was born and grew up in western Pennsylvania. He was inspired to become an ophthalmologist by his late father Nicholas Mittica M.D. who served his community as an ophthalmologist for thirty-five years pioneering early cataract surgery and lens implantation.
