About Us

  • About Us Ali Fayez Nakkour is a 2002 graduate of the prestigious Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan. His BA is from the University of Washington 1998. He is a native of Seattle, and before graduation, was an extern at the King County Prosecutor’s Office where he prosecuted over a hundred jury trials. From there he developed his philosophy that a hard-working, rigorous criminal defense attorney prevails more often than not. It is important to make the prosecutor work for a conviction. In 2003 he opened a small law office in his old neighborhood in Greenwood, WA called the Law Offices of Ali Nakkour. From 2003 to present, Mr. Nakkour has primarily focused his practice on Criminal Defense. Currently Mr. Nakkour is the managing member or senior attorney at The Freedom Law Firm, P.L.L.C. focusing almost entirely on criminal defense. Specifically, creating a practice area emphasis on defending people accused of domestic violence crimes. In addition to his practice, Mr. Nakkour has been called upon to sit as Judge Pro Tempore in the following municipalities: Kent, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Medina, Hunts Point, Clyde Hill and Yarrow Point. He also volunteers his time to sit as judge at the Legal Writing Program at Seattle University, hearing law students present their briefs. His volunteer work ensures that future lawyers receive real life feedback on their performances in Moot Court, which ultimately will lead them to be better attorneys. Mr. Nakkour has been involved in defending high profile clients, and as a result is considered an attorney who will take cases that other attorneys won’t touch. Mr. Nakkour is a tireless advocate for his clients and as a result, he is a tried and true trial attorney who believes that sometimes clients will have better outcomes if they go to trial. In some cases trial is the only option for an innocent client. Mr. Nakkour speaks fluent Arabic. Mr. Nakkour believes it is his duty to assist people in the community negotiate disputes and is willing to conduct alternative dispute resolution to help mediate disputes before they wind up in court.
