Dr. Mary Lilly Optometric Physician in Lithia FL, is a board certified optometrist, is licensed to prescribe glasses and contacts, and is also trained to treat eye infections. Her comprehensive eye exams include evaluations for cataracts and glaucoma. She works with patients of all ages. Dr. Lilly was raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. After attending Northern Michigan University for her undergraduate studies, she completed her Optometric curriculum at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1995. Upon graduation, Dr. Lilly worked in a private practice in Bartlett, IL, where she specialized in children's eye care. In 1998, Dr. Lilly and her husband moved to Valrico. At that time, she took some time away from practicing to begin a family. She resumed in 2002, working as the Optometrist within Valrico's Wal-Mart Vision Center. Eager to work in a private practice setting once again, the idea of FishHawk Family Eyecare had begun. She left Wal-Mart and worked part-time for optician Karl Marvel at his two locations in Riverview and Apollo Beach while planning the new practice. In November 2006, FishHawk Family Eyecare had finally opened!
