About Us

  • Enzo's Acres offers select dog care services on five groomed & fenced acres in Battle Ground Wa. Long & Short term Boarding, Balanced Training, Day & Overnight Sitting, Grooming, Administering of Oral & Injectable medications, Micro Chip Administering. Enzo's Acres is also a certified animal Transporter. Our GEO territory is Oregon, Washington, California & Idaho. Our Transport services are available for inner city jumps from fixed residential locations, Vets, Emergency Hospitals & businesses 24/7. Enzo's Acres is also a non-profit dog rescue. We are all here with a common goal of rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes. We choose Non-Breed specific dogs who have great temperments. Because we are an ALL breed, non-breed specific dog rescue we have the opportunity to find great family dogs. We choose dogs based on temperment not based on breed. Often when a dog comes into Enzo's Acres we have no idea what "breed" it is, even vets and shelters struggle with selecting a breed to mark on their kennel card. So I say "what do you think he/she is"? While "breed specific" rescues search listings for their breed, we search listings for dogs being passed up because they are not a specific "breed", and are "great" dogs. All of our dogs see one of our vets for a health check. We do our best to give the best medical care while the dogs are in our program. We do not make promises or guarantees regarding the health of any of our dogs, but we do our best to adopt out healthy dogs. Along with a health check, our dogs are spay/neutered, up to date on vaccines, rabies and microchipped. Sometimes dogs need boosters after they are adopted, we make sure to list all needed vet care upon adoption. When a dog comes into Enzo's Acres they go into an approved foster home for a minimum of 21 days before they go up for adoption. During the 21 days we vet the dog and take care of all health needs. This also gives us time to allow the dog to acclimate to a home enviroment. We feel it takes at least that long for a dogs personality to show. Some dogs take much longer to be available for adoption based on medical needs and training needs.
