About Us

  • Near Historic Presidential Estates, wineries & breweries in rural Virginia, our B&B is a rebuilt church that was originally constructed in 1901. Ebenezer House Bed & Breakfast's building was originally a Methodist church constructed in Culpeper in 1901. In 1984, the church was moved and reassembled in Madison, where it is today. In 2001, the building was purchased by Doris McIntosh-Webb, who used the building to fulfill her dream of running a bed & breakfast. Currently the inn is run by her son, Alan, who keeps her dream alive. Upon your arrival at Ebenezer House you'll be welcomed and shown to your cozy guest room, which is adorned with antique furnishings and family heirlooms. From there, you'll have no shortage of options to choose from and can spend days exploring Central Virginia's historic landmarks. If you enjoy wine, we have 13 vineyards in the surrounding area, if you enjoy visiting different cities, we're halfway between Culpeper and Charlottesville, and if you like exploring we're located 20 minutes from the beautiful Shenandoah National Park and it's gorgeous mountain views and winding trails. If you're looking for a charming bed & breakfast that's surrounded by possibilities then Ebenezer House is for you. Give us a call or go online to book your stay today.
