• About Us Dustin M. Hayward, MD, is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive endovascular neurosurgery, cranial microsurgery, and microsurgical spine surgery. At his eponymous practice, Dustin Hayward MD, in Kirkland, Washington, Dr. Hayward offers comprehensive care for a variety of conditions including aneurysms, stroke, trigeminal neuralgia, and brain tumors. He also uses an evidence-based approach in treating spine issues like tumors and spinal stenosis with minimally invasive techniques. To treat brain and spine conditions, Dr. Hayward uses state-of-the-art technologies like the StealthStation™ surgical navigation system, SONOPET® ultrasonic aspirator, and the Kinevo® Surgical Microscope. He also offers in-office diagnostic testing technologies to accurately confirm the cause of back pain, neck pain, and other symptoms.  Dr. Hayward is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and an active member of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and Congress of Neurosurgery. Graduating with his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Hayward completed both his residence and internship at Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He finished his fellowship training at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Hayward values his personal relationship with each patient.
