DUE SOUTH LOCATED IN PEACHTREE CITY, GA. Located “due south” of The Avenue in Peachtree City, Georgia, Due South Southern Cuisine was born and bred locally. The concept was developed by Michael Smith and Bryan Gardner, who collectively have been serving the area for more than 20 years. The initial idea behind Due South was to bring the downtown Atlanta restaurant scene downhome to Peachtree City. Once the concept of Due South was born, Chef Darryl Evans of The City Club of Buckhead began to develop a menu full of Contemporary Southern Cuisine. Not only has Chef Evans been preparing Southern Cuisine around Atlanta for more three decades, he was also the first African American member of the U.S. Culinary Olympics team in 1988 where he won two individual gold medals, one team gold medal and one team silver medal. Chef Donald Wilson, formerly of Landon’s Restaurant in Atlanta, has teamed up with Chef Evans to execute production of our fabulous Contemporary Southern Cuisine. Due South Southern Cuisine is truly where great Southern Food meets great Southern Hospitality!
