In addition since the year 2000, service area was expanded to include Walla Walla, Washington Vicinity and the Central Oregon Coast. Projects include both new construction and renovations of Custom Residential Single and Multi Family, Churches, Schools, Medical-Dental Clinics and General Commercial Office and Retail. D. Edward Kontz Jr aia Architect is a sole proprietor. This simple organization is especially beneficial where projects are complex and require a designer with broad experience. The Principal Architect performs Program Analysis, Schematic Design, Design Development and Final Detailed Design. Coordination with Owners and their representatives, Engineering Consultants, Key Manufacturing Representatives, Constructors and Government Officials is addressed by the Principal Architect. Also during construction, Payment Requests, Change Orders, Requests for Information, Architect’s Supplemental Instructions, Variance Documentation and Submittal Reviews are accomplished by the same Principal Architect.
