Country Dog Ranch's history stems back to 1990 when Dominique started his dog training career in Chile, where he was located at the time. He owned a boarding facility and worked as a dog trainer for several years, conducting one on one and group obedience classes. His work was featured in several television shows and he was considered one of the best dog trainers in the country.

During that time, Dominique met his friend Juan, who was devoted to breeding boxers, rottweilers and Neapolitan mastiffs and competing in dog shows. He then decided to expand his business and added a dog training school to his breeding facility. Dominique became the head trainer of the center. Since that moment, a fruitful working relationship and a friendship began. Then, for a couple of years, Dominique and Juan worked together, training many, many dogs and helping their owners to foster a better relationship with their pets.
