William Miskell, Ph.D. The founder of Change Your Mind is a psychologist and an engineer. He specializes in hypnosis, and seeks elegant, effective, long-lasting methods to help people improve their lives. Dr. Miskell has enjoyed a wide-ranging career, and brings best practices and wisdom from all of it. He was a U.S. Naval Officer in nuclear submarines where he earned an engineering degree and two master’s degrees. He transitioned from the Navy to a 10-year adventure with NASA, mostly designing astronaut equipment interfaces. Within that period, he earned his Ph.D. with research in neurolinguistic programming (NLP), the science that codifies hypnosis. Dr. Miskell is a current scientific researcher in hypnosis. His original, secondary, and archival research projects make sure the latest methods are incorporated into all sessions.
