Cetek – Our Story! The Cetek story began many years prior to 2001 when the company was officially formed. Starting in the early 1990’s principles of the company were employed as multi-disciplined engineering experts, supporting various industrial automation and embedded systems design projects that included elevator and escalator controls. In 2001 Cetek was formed by 4 Engineers with a combined industrial experience level of 65 years. Cetek began manufacturing elevator control systems in 2006 in our Davenport IA location, and introduced the Cetek FLEX™ line of Hydro and Traction controls in 2008. Our Expertise Our design and manufacturing experience has been accumulated from involvement in projects with many global corporations including Alcoa, Rockwell Automation, General Electric, Kraft, KONE, Musco Lighting, and Nestle.
