• 12 years of working with both managed care and "private" insurance has taught me that no one cares if you receive good, safe, medical care except you and your physician. Therefore the only way to receive good, safemedical care is to hire your physician to work for you, NOT your insurance company. MY PLAN is to give the best care that I can, based on my medical education and past graduate training in psychiatry, for a reasonable fee. In keeping with my plan to provide the best care based on my education, training and American Psychiatric Association "Best Practices," I will NOT be prescribing medication int the BENZODIAZEPINE / Valium family.
