Carl Dear, PA-C is passionate about healthcare and working closely with his patients across the Rowlett and North Texas areas to help them achieve their optimal health. He believes in a team oriented healthcare approach by closely listening to patients input and together, creating a healthcare plan to best fit their needs. Carl attended Howard University in Washington, DC, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree for Physician Assistant and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE for his Masters in Physician Assistant studies. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners He started working as a Physician Assistant in 1998 in the Maryland and Washington D.C areas before relocating to Texas in 2008. He worked for the Baylor hospital system and made a transition into family practice in 2013. In Carl’s personal time he enjoys working out, spending time with his family and watching football.
