For years we were near the ocean in the SF Bay Area,with a second home in Kauai among long beaches and big waves. My fascination with the lights and patterns grew with every tide. Carol (my wife) and I left our tech business behind - now we focus on waves! We live in Camarillo near the sea, and photography has become my profession - the amazing equipment, tools, and techniques of digital photography, especially the new Canon cameras and lenses. I do love the waves along this coast. For sea art, the challenge is to be in the right place, to know the wind, wave, and tide patterns - the best moments are spectacular, unpredictable, and only visible to the camera!
