• My name is Eric Sutton. I Build Functional Art Furniture.
  
  I have been working with wood since 1982, and building wooden furniture since 1993.
  
  I design and build custom wood furniture. I named my company "Behind The Times Furniture" after a rock climb that I established in 1999, to describe the old fashioned quality with which I build your furniture.I am perhaps a bit behind the times with my high standards which put quality and no limits to what "custom" means, at the very forefront of what I do.
  
  I build furniture that you can't find in a store and I take the time to build it to my high standards and exactly the way you want it.
  
  The methods I use to build your furniture, result in a finished product that will become a cherished family heirloom and eventually an antique.
