• About Us Anthony J. Berni, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in O’Fallon, Missouri. For more than 23 years, Dr. Berni has provided expert care for those living in and around St. Louis, the University of Missouri in Columbia, and St. Charles County. After graduating cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Dr. Berni completed his orthopedic residency at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. During his residency, Dr. Berni received specialized training in single incision endoscopic carpal tunnel release and holds certification in the 3M™ Agee Carpal Tunnel Release System. With a strong desire to provide the best surgical outcomes for his patients, Dr. Berni continuously updates his skill set by learning new surgical tools and techniques. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive and outpatient joint replacement surgery and is highly proficient at performing partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, and hip replacement. Dr. Berni also performs SuperPath® hip replacement, the least invasive hip replacement procedure available. At his general orthopedic practice, Dr. Berni specializes in diagnosing and treating joint pain, thumb pain, meniscal tears, and fractures.
