About Us

  • THE MAN BEHIND ANDUS K9! Jon Andus has been developing his training methods and unique “Real World” approach for over 16 years, and has worked with and been mentored by, some of the most well respected dog trainers in the industry. Over the years, Jon took it upon himself to learn everything and anything about the different approaches to training dogs. Jon has a unique ability to work with some of the most deemed aggressive dogs, and has taken on some of the most difficult cases with dogs from high kill shelters in California, and other shelters in the Western US. He also offers his services to rescue dogs who need additional training and socialization, and has been instrumental in the adoption of over 300 rescued dogs in the last year. Jon’s unique approach to training, what he likes to call Progressive Training Solutions for the Real World, has improved the lives of dogs and their owners for over 16 years. Jon made the move to Evanston Wyoming in January 2013, and opened up his state of the art dog training facility there. He also offers his training services in Northern Utah, and serves clients from all over the Western United States. Jon truly has a gift in the way he understands dogs, and will continue to devote his life, sharing this gift with others.
