Board certified in both neurology and internal medicine, Andres Gonzalez, MD joined Northwell Health in 2017 with over twenty years of clinical experience. Dr. Gonzalez earned his medical degree at the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic and then completed his internal medicine and neurology residencies at State University of New York Heath Science Center at Brooklyn. Following his residencies, Dr. Gonzalez completed a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As a neurologist who specializes in general neurology, Dr. Gonzalez’s practice focuses on clinical neurophysiology, dementia, electro diagnosis, epilepsy, headaches and pain management and is devoted to expert diagnosis and treatment for improved patient outcomes.
