About Us

  • In 2008, Amanda started snapping photos of her beloved dog, Sammie when photography first sparked her interest. She credits loyal clients and a strong faith that launched her career as a professional portrait and wedding photographer in Tallahassee, Florida in 2009. Several years later, a cowboy from New Mexico showed up in her hometown stealing her heart then planting her feet from the sunny beaches of Florida to the rugged ranch land of West. The ranch on which she lives, Vermejo Park Ranch (insert link: www.vermejoparkranch.com), is Ted Turner’s largest property that is a guest operating ranch hosting guests from around the world. The ranch has produced a unique set of photography opportunities for Amanda. In the fall, she is often hiking the mountains photographing elk, bison, deer and bear hunts. During the remaining times of the year, she is accompanying families and groups visiting the ranch documenting their experiences as they unwind in nature. Whether they are fly fishing Vermejo’s natural streams, touring the historical sites, or delving into the many outdoor recreational activities, Amanda arrives to capture these moments as they unfold. Providing each guest with an online gallery of images and the options of custom album design, their memories are preserved for the next generations. Lifestyle portraits are still her first love as documenting the emotions of people in natural light have driven her love of photography from the beginning. Styled family and engagement sessions are also offered on the ranch as well as locations between Denver, Colorado and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
