• The original office was The Back and Neck Pain Center at 994 Hartford Tnpk. Vernon,CT. At that time the main focus of the office was, as the name implies, musculoskeletal pain. The therapies that were offered were simple. Treatment modalities were limited to Chiropractic, massage, simple electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, hot packs and ice . However simple, patients at that time responded well to care. As time went on my patients were referring more and more of their friends, family and co-workers who had more complex problems, more chronic problems and health concerns that were not musculoskeletal or who had other health problems that were making their muscular pain more difficult to treat by my simple means. I felt that I needed more tools to break through some of these more difficult cases. I began taking courses in nutrition, herbs, and homeopathy. Patients responded well to these therapies. To better evaluate patient needs with respect to nutritional support I began utilizing lab testing such as blood, urine and hormone testing along with various other metabolic testing. To improve outcomes with musculoskeletal problems, I studied a number of techniques including Fascial Manipulation, Dry Needle Technique, Graston Technique and Acupuncture. I also studied and invested in some of the most advanced therapy equipment: Horizontal Therapy, Therastim, K-Laser class 4 laser, Synaptic Therapy, Neurocare, Selfmastery Technology, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, Rebuilder and Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Therapy (EPAT). At times I would have a patient that would have pain or ill health, would look bad, feel bad, but was told they were in good health because all of the previous doctors and tests couldn’t find anything. What to do? Look at things from another point of view. Look at the patient’s energetics using various offshoots of acupuncture. Much of modern medical testing is actually energy based: EEG,EKG, Ultrasound and MRI. Energy based testing that I began using are: Acugraph, Meridian Stress Assessment, Zyto, EAV (electroacupuncture according to Voll) and biofeedback in the form of BAX Allergy treatments and NANO neurological stress reduction therapy. As you can see, things have evolved tremendously over the last 28 years. My practice will continue to evolve as the problems of the patients that I see continue to get more and more complex. I will continue to seek out continuing education and the best and most advanced therapy equipment.
