Jay Sulhoff has been in the garage door industry for over 40 years. He started as a teenager working for his dad who owned a garage door company specializing in commercial work. As he got older he grew to like residential work, so in 1987 he opened A & J Garage Door, Inc. A & J specializes in residential garage door service including new installation and repair of garage doors and electric openers. Jay has kept his company a small, family-owned and operated company since its inception. He does all the work for the company which allows him to ensure the quality and integrity of every single job, as well as build personal relationships with our customers. Jay's three sons have all started helping dad and learning the business also. A & J Garage Door, Inc. is open 7 days a week, and does not charge extra for evening, weekends, or holidays. We provide service to numerous counties in MD, including Anne Arundel, Calvert, Carroll, Charles, Howard, Prince Georges, and Montgomery; as well as Northern VA and Washington, DC.
