Located in a private wooded lot away from noisy roads and gawkers A & J is Maine's only full size private motorcycle training facility. We offer 4 different courses: 1. The hands-on Basic Rider Course (BRC) for novices seeking a motorcycle license and to learn practical skills and techniques (5 hours of classroom & 10 hours hands-on training) 2. The Basic Rider Course 2 BRC2 (formerly the ERC) will provide you with the basic techniques to become a safe, responsible, and successful motorcyclist. This is for experienced licensed motorcyclists to enhance their current skills (6-8 hours of hands-on training). Call or email for dates. 3. 3 Wheeled Basic Rider Course, for those riders who want to learn how the 3 wheeled machines handle in tight turns, stopping and cornering, Call or email for dates. 4. Maine Motorcycle Safety Education Class (MMSEC) permit class this is an 8 hour classroom only to get your motorcycle permit. Must pass with an 80%.
